How We Calculate Your Gold's Value
Our calculator uses a simple, transparent formula:
The purity factor depends on the karat of your gold:
If some of the item's weight is stone or non-gold wastage, enter it under "Stone/Wastage Deduction" so it is excluded before the gold value is calculated. If your gold item includes stones with their own value, that is added separately on top as "Stone Value", giving you an estimated total value.
The rate you enter is shown with today's date on the result, since gold rates change daily — always use the current day's rate for the closest estimate.
